I am a strategic, growth-oriented international business leader with over 15 years of diversified experience spanning international marketing, diplomacy, public affairs, and business development. Currently, I serve as the Head of International Marketing, Public Affairs & Product Compliance at Standard Finis Oil Co., and also hold the position of Executive Director at the International Institute of Global Studies (IIGS), where I lead high-level policy research, government liaison, and diplomatic initiatives.

My career has been built on a foundation of business innovation, market expansion, and geopolitical understanding. I have spearheaded business operations and market development across South Asia, Southeast Asia, the GCC, and Africa, establishing strategic partnerships, negotiating international contracts, and facilitating cross-border investments. My expertise in B2B strategy, government engagement, and buyer hunting has consistently led to breakthrough growth in both public and private sector arenas.

Alongside my corporate leadership, I work closely with diplomatic missions, including my roles as a Consultant (Political and Economic Affairs) at the Embassy of Algeria, and Secretary (Political Affairs) to the Brunei High Commissioner in Bangladesh. My involvement has been pivotal in bilateral discussions such as Brunei-Bangladesh LNG cooperation, high-level protocol management, and trade facilitation.

As an Associate Editor of Diplomats Magazine, I write and speak regularly on geopolitical strategy, regional diplomacy, and economic development, hosting seminars that bring together ambassadors, analysts, and thought leaders. My editorial role allows me to shape global perceptions of Bangladesh’s strategic importance in the Indo-Pacific and beyond.

 

Academically, I hold a Master’s in Marketing & Innovation from Anglia Ruskin University, UK, alongside additional degrees in Business Administration and specialized Postgraduate Diplomas in Strategic Management and Marketing. I’ve also completed over a dozen trade-related trainings under the International Trade Center (ITC), a UN organization, sharpening my capabilities in export sales, cross-border trade, and e-commerce.

With a deep commitment to advancing Bangladesh’s global standing, I blend corporate acumen with diplomatic insight to build bridges between governments, businesses, and communities. My strengths lie in stakeholder management, high-level negotiations, cross-cultural diplomacy, and strategic communication — all driven by a clear vision: to make a meaningful impact on the world stage
